It feels like summer has come and gone so quickly! August was a full and exciting month for my family and me, full of birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations and more. In addition to all of that, one of the biggest highlights was our series on Forgotten Virtues.
Each Sunday, we focused on an important virtue of our Christian walk—ones that God had called us to live out daily. Together we looked at honor, humility, mercy and grace, kindness, and wrapped it all up with gratitude. This series blessed my heart and reminded me of the importance of how we live and act every single day. My prayer is that you also found encouragement, growth, and personal revelation through these messages—whether it was from myself or from one of the other LifePoint pastors who shared.
One of my favorite weeks was when we learned about mercy and grace. One of the verses we read from was Titus 2:11–12:
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.”
We were reminded that while we may not struggle to receive mercy and grace, we often do struggle to give them to others. Yet, this is where God challenges us: not to be quick to condemn, cancel, judge, or tear down, but instead to forgive, cover in prayer, love, and restore—to the very best of our ability.
Now, as we step into the Fall season of 2025 and begin our next series, I pray that our hearts remain open to all God has for us—as a church, as a community, and as a family.
It is an honor to serve you all as your Campus Pastor. I am eager for what God has in store for us all as we continue to grow as a church and reach our community for Jesus.
Always remember……The best is yet to come!
