Small Groups
Small Groups are the best thing we do at LifePoint Church. We believe real life change happens in the context of authentic relationships, which is why we are a church made up of Small Groups. In the Bible, they worshiped in the temple, but personal ministry happened “house to house.”

What if my group isn't the right fit?
- We want everyone to find a Small Group that fits your schedule, helps you grow spiritually, and gives you a place to find freedom in community. Visiting a group doesn’t mean you’re making a commitment. We encourage you to try a group, meet the people, and see if it’s the right fit for you. If it’s not, that’s okay! Our Small Group leaders won’t be offended. Just let them know, and they’ll be happy to help you find another group where you can connect, grow, and belong.
Why should I join a Small Group?
- Small Groups are a place to build meaningful relationships, grow in your faith, and find freedom through community. We believe life is better together, and you weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone.
How often do Small Groups meet?
- Each group is a little different. Some meet weekly, while others may meet on a different rhythm. You can view each group’s meeting schedule and details before you visit.
What happens at a Small Group?
- Every group looks a little different, but you can expect time to connect, build relationships, have meaningful conversations, and grow spiritually together.
Do I need to know a lot about the Bible to join?
- Not at all! Small Groups are for everyone, no matter where you are in your faith journey. You don’t need to have all the answers—you just need to be willing to show up and grow.
Can I join a Small Group if I’m new to LifePoint?
- Absolutely! Joining a Small Group is one of the best ways to meet people and begin building community at LifePoint. You don’t have to attend for a certain amount of time before joining.
Can I join a group after the semester has already started?
- Yes! If a group is listed as open, you are welcome to reach out and see about joining, even if the semester is already underway.
Is childcare available?
- Childcare varies by group. Check the group description for details about children or childcare, or reach out to the group leader before attending.
What if I miss a week?
- That’s okay! We know schedules can get busy. While we encourage you to attend consistently so you can build relationships and get the most out of your group, missing a meeting doesn’t mean you can’t come back.
