This month in KidPoint, kids are diving into an exciting and meaningful new series called Who Am I? Throughout February, we’re helping kids discover the truth about their identity—not based on what the world says, what others say, or even how they feel, but on what God says about them. God’s Word is always true; therefore, it tells us the truth about who we are!
Each week, kids will discover through the Bible that who they are is firmly grounded in God’s love, purpose, and truth. Our memory verse reminds us just how deeply loved we are by our Heavenly Father:
“See what amazing love the Father has given us! Because of it, we are called children of God.” — 1 John 3:1a, NIRV
Throughout the month, elementary-aged kids will explore these weekly truths and Scriptures:
Week 1: I am made and known by God! (Psalm 139)
Kids will learn that God created them on purpose and knows everything about them. They are not an accident! They are wonderfully made and deeply known by God.
Week 2: I am loved no matter what! (Romans 5:8; Romans 8:38–39)
No matter what kids do, feel, or face, God’s love never changes and never goes away. His love is bigger than mistakes, fears, or hard days.
Week 3: I am chosen and valuable! (Ephesians 1:4; Ephesians 2:10; 1 Peter 2:9)
Kids will discover that God chose them and has a purpose for their lives. They matter to God, and He has good plans for them.
Week 4: I am forgiven because of Jesus! (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:9)
Kids will learn that everyone has sinned, but through Jesus, we can be forgiven and made new! God’s grace gives us a fresh start!
Our prayer this month is that every child walks away confident in who they are because of who God is. When kids know their identity is rooted in God’s truth, they can face life with confidence, courage, and faith!
