At LifePoint Students we Live Different from the world.
Wednesday Nights 6pm - 8pm
We want to see Middle and High School students thriving in an authentic relationship with God, and connected to the local church.
Our goal is to help take students on a spiritual journey as they follow Christ by helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Romans 12:2 ESV
FAQs
What age range can come on Wednesday nights?
Student Ministry is for students in 6th–12th grade.
What should I expect on a Student's first Wednesday night?
When a student comes for the first time, they’ll stop by our check-in desk to fill out a quick registration form. We’ll ask for a parent/guardian name and phone number, take a photo for their profile, and give them a first-time guest bag. After that, they’ll get to meet their small group leaders and jump right in!
What does a typical Wednesday night look like?
Wednesday nights start at 6 with snacks and games. From there, middle school students go to large group for worship and teaching while high school students break into small groups. Halfway through, the groups switch so everyone gets both experiences.
How are small groups divided in Student Ministry?
We divide students by both grade level and gender, so each student connects with peers their own age.
What if my student wants to be with friends in another grade or gender?
Students are grouped by grade and gender, so they’ll be with peers their age. While they may not be in the exact same group as all their friends, they’ll still see them during hangout time.
What snacks are available on Wednesday nights?
Students can grab snacks during hangout time, with options like chips, cookies, fruit roll-ups, and similar favorites.
Are parents allowed to stay during Student services?
Parents are invited to join large group time, but small groups are reserved for students and leaders so they can have their own space to grow and connect.
What do students need to bring on Wednesday nights?
All students are encouraged to bring a Bible and notebook each week to engage in teaching and small group time.
What is the dress code?
For a safe and respectful environment, students should wear modest clothing. Clothing should not display inappropriate words, symbols, or advertisements for alcohol or tobacco. Shorts should be fingertip length or longer. No spaghetti straps, low-cut tops, crop tops, midriff-baring shirts, or cut-off shirts. Boys should keep their shirts on at all times.
Can students use their phones on Wednesday nights?
We are a no phone zone.To help everyone stay engaged, we ask students to keep phones put away during Wednesday nights.
What if my student needs to leave early?
Students leaving before the end of services should check in at the desk, and we’ll call a parent or guardian for pickup.
What is strictly prohibited at Student events?
Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vapes, weapons, and fireworks are never permitted at any Student Ministry events.
